Death of a Friend

I said goodbye to a dear friend last month. My Dell Inspiron laptop lost a long and courageous battle to a mysterious virus. I've quickly worked through all my stages of grief however, and I have fallen in love with a new computer named Mac. Mac is an early Christmas gift to myself and I can tell this will be a long and passionate affair. I've missed you all and I am so glad to be back in blogging action!

Thanksgiving in Paris

Let's take a poll, shall we? Perhaps you guys can help me solve a holiday dilemma. Which option sounds better: spend Thanksgiving week in Paris enjoying some of the best food, wine, art, and architecture in the world; or spend Thanksgiving with my family listening to my Uncle Frank cough up a lung and my Grandmother's tales of bowel irregularity.
